Dog sports are better when you’re not doing them alone.
Whether you’re ringside at a trial, waiting your turn at the start line, or just trying to keep your dog focused in a busy environment, having people in your corner changes everything. It makes the long days easier, the wins more exciting, and the tough runs a little less frustrating.
That’s what this challenge is about.
From May 1 through August 1, we’re inviting every member of the Athletic Bark Brigade to take part in the Find Your Pack Challenge a simple way to build stronger connections within our community while doing what we already love: showing up to events with our dogs.
How It Works
The idea is simple:
When you’re at a dog sport trial, training day, or event, find other members of the Athletic Bark Brigade and take a group photo together.
That’s it.
Each time you submit a group photo, everyone in that photo earns a raffle entry.
The more events you attend and the more connections you make, the more entries you’ll collect.
You will submit the photos in the Athletic Bark Brigade Facebook group or via email with the Subject Line Find Your Pack Challenge to info@dogsportsevents.com
What Counts as an Entry
To keep things fair and focused on community, here’s what qualifies:
The photo must include 2 or more Athletic Bark Brigade members
It must be taken at a dog sport event, trial, or organized training day
The photo must be submitted between May 1 and August 1
Each event counts as one entry per person, as long as you’re in a submitted group photo from that event. (Please put the names of everyone in the photo so we can make sure they get the tickets too!)
Why This Matters
This isn’t about perfect dogs or perfect performances.
It’s about creating a space where people feel like they belong.
Dog sports can feel intimidating, especially when you’re new. Walking into an event where you already know someone (even just one familiar face) can completely change that experience.
This challenge is about making that first connection easier. And then another. And another.
Because over time, those small moments turn into real community.
The Prize
At the end of the challenge, we’ll randomly select a winner from all entries to receive:
The Best Friend Dog Game
It’s a fun way to keep building that connection with your dog outside of the ring, too.
What We Really Want to See
Yes, you’re earning entries, but more importantly, we want to see:
New friendships forming
Familiar faces showing up for each other
People feeling more confident walking into events
A community that actually looks like a community
How to Participate
Go to a dog sport event, trial, or training day
Find fellow Athletic Bark Brigade members
Take a group photo
Submit it to the Brigade
Repeat as often as you’d like from May 1 through August 1.
You don’t have to do this alone.
So next time you’re at an event, look around, introduce yourself, and get in the photo.
Find your pack. Build your community.
By submitting photos you and the group are allowing us to use the photo in promotional materials if you would like to not have your photo used for this please reach out to us directly and we will make sure to exclude you (info@dogsportsevents.com)
